This looks interesting.. has good reviews, maybe even same performance for lower noise.
Both are good price in my opinion!
Let me know what you think!
thanks

Hi eli, welcome to the Forum,
If you're looking for an HeatSink for your Cpu, well, the best ways to go, for me, are the Millenium Glaciator II (quiet) or a ThermalRight SK6 with Delta38Cfm (noisy). Others solutions, but expensive, are the Alpha Pal8045 & the Swiftech MC462A, but you have to check the Mobo compatibility, for the last two, coz sometimes there isn't enough room around the Socket, and won't fit.
I hope it helps you ;)
P.S. for a complete list of Heatsinks Performance Rankings, take a look on the home page.
Thanks! Mill Glaciators are quiet huh? thats what i want. I hate having a harrier jet in my room.

Personally I haven't still tried a Glaciator II, but it's for sure very quiet if compared to the others suggested :)
Go with the Glaciator, affordable and efficent.
It doesn't have a Delta fan like most of the new good heatsinks but it has a Everflow 38cfm fan and its only 39dBA. So instead of the Delta which would be like 46dBA for 38dBA and its the top 3 best heatsink.

Glaciators are a marvel of engineering. And they don't hurt the wallet either. They are heavy, but not bad at all.
Yea although they maybe near one pound or slighty over you can probably find a CPU shim if your scared of it chipping or damaging the core in any way.
what about this hsf http://www.plycon.com/typew.htm

This is for sure another good product, but without a comparative test, for me the best is the SK6 & the Glaciator II.

I'm kind of partial to the Alpha PAL 8045 and Swiftech MC462 series myself. You don't have to worry about them ripping a lug off the socket because they use the 4 holes around the socket for mounting. They are a bit more expensive(a lot more for the Swiftech) but I like the performance of them combined with the ease of removing them, once you have the standoffs mounted on your board. The SK6 and the Glaciator 2 are also good heatsinks; I just prefer the big ones.
Also, I read a review somewhere on the web on the Kanie type W and it performed real well with 2-50 cfm Deltas but they said the noise would stun you at 50 feet.:D :D

I totally agree with you, muddocktor,
The Delta50Cfm is what I'm using with the SK6 on the XP+ system, and @12v it's absolutly noisy, tollerable only @7v.
