ISnt the safepower good enough
since i used extreme power supply calculator and it came out to 409 watts with my configuration

It's because the Safe Power is of inferior quality and is most likely incapable of putting out it's rated wattage.

Cooler Master PSU's are decent. Not top of the line but I've heard they put out close to what they are rated for. I'm sure the 650w would be good enough for what you need. Make sure that the wattage and amperage on each rail will meet your needs. i.e. if you have a high powered graphics card that requires 75w make sure there is a rail that can do that. Check out the PSU buyer's guide if you haven't already.

That system isn't more than 250 watts.

I agree, I run a 3GHz C2D with a heavily overclocked 7900GS, and I only run a 400W powersupply; but it is a quality powersupply like the one quoted above.

I run a 450 Watt Corsair which powers an O/Ced Q6600 and 8800GT.

so originally techs told me that a 550 w corsair ps would do the trick but apparently they ddnt do the math. i have a phemom quad core 9600 black edition with 2 hard drives, 2 3870's, so apparently a 750w corsair will do the trick but with me as ill be overclocking soon as i get more ram, the technicians made my by a enermax 1000w ps, omg i had to pay an extra 200. too bad my store doesnt carry the new corsair 1000w ps

They made you buy an Enermax 1kW? Where is this place so I can avoid it :p

The Corsair 750W would have been more than enough. Nobody carries the Corsair 1kW - it's not out yet.
