memory bottleneck?

How can you tell if your RAM is bottlenecking your gameplaying? One of my RAM modules (PC2-6400 Ballistix 2x1GB) crapped out and I RMA'ed them both...new ones ccame in today and 1 is defective :mad:...so while im awaiting a 2nd RMA im trying to run some games off 1 module however the game seems very jittery...before I go insane I just want to double check its because there is only 1 stick in the system.

Check your pagefile. If it is huge, the low amount of RAM is your source of the slowdown.
