Wifi Extender/ Repeater?

I find myself wanting to increase my wifi signal downstairs for our new Wii.

I currently have a linksys wrt54g with the big ol antennas and using ddwrt with mild overclock on the router.

Im looking for a low cost with great results way to extend the weak signal.

I get about 30% Signal down here.

You can buy another wrt54g and repeat the signal, or buy better antennas.

Linksys makes a device called a Range Extender, but I have not seen it work 100% flawlessly.


The best way is run a wire. In lieu of doing that, HPA networking like Fr3@k3r suggested is the next thing. I have not used the Zyxel product (or any of them for that matter) but Zyxel has a great reputation for producing good products.
