You haven't heard of The Club because it's the kind of game journalists walk past, go "That's cute...", and then move on to the real games at the electronics shows. They've attempted to hype it up over the past few weeks on Live, and the demo came out today.
Let's just say it's a cheap knockoff of a cheap knockoff of Gears of War. Like "What if Gears of War was a deathmatch-only foot race game... in both single and multiplayer... and what if it were made in 1998 instead of 2008?"
It would've probably been awesome. I seriously would've loved the hell out of this game on the Neo Geo. But so many things have happened since then...
