having some severe issues with my setup

gigabyte p35c-ds3r
2 500GB 7200.11 SATAII seagate drives setup in RAID0
Windows Vista x64 installed on the same disk array
4GB DDR2-800

after searching via google, it seems that this is a very common problem and nobody has been able to figure out how to solve it without removing a stick of ram, which is a BS way to fix this IMO

basically, randomly on restart, i'll get this error

STOP:C0000218 {Registry File Failure}
The registry cannot load the hive (file):
\SystemRoot\System32\Config\SECURITY
or its log or alternate.
It is corrupt, absent, or not writable.

restarting in safemode, and then restarting normally solves the problem about 50% of the time. once i eventually get into windows, I have no problems.

it seems to only occur on systems running a 64bit OS + 4GB of RAM + RAID0 with windows installed on the RAID setup

any ideas?:(
