Hey Guys
Just wondering is somebody could help me with my memory dividers on my X38 Asus maximus Extreme mobo

I know different mobo manufctuers use diffent ways of displaying the memory divider/ratios and that ASUS its under the Dram Frequency.
ie Option like DDR3-533Mhz,DDR3-667Mhz and DDR3-800Mhz and so on but i dont know which each of relate to in terms i undertsand like 1:1, 2:1 and 2:3 etc etc.

Anybody know what the ASUS setting are in simple terms??

The ddr speed options given to you in the BIOS are dependent on your fsb.

At fsb 300 you get:

ddr3-601 (1:1)
ddr3-721 (5:6)
ddr3-960 (5:8)
ddr3-1201 (1:2)

at fsb 400 you get:

ddr3-801 (1:1)
ddr3-961 (5:6)
ddr3-1280 (5:8)
ddr3-1601 (1:2)

Basically you get the same dividers with whatever fsb you enter, it simply shows the speed your ram will be running instead of the fraction.
