Really quick question dont want to bother you guys.

I use ati tool to adjust my fan speed to 75% i dont overclock but i just like to be on the safe side and keep the card cool. good idea no?

Anyway I have 2 questions.

1. Keeping the fan @ 75% fan speed doesn't wear the fan out correct? Without ati tool it runs at about 20% which i find too slow especially when its hot outside. so i just keep it @ 75% year round. I assume having it that fast wont wear it out. Correct me if im wrong

2. In rare cases maybe once or twice every few months ill start my computer and when ati tool pops up my fan speed doesn't go to 75% it doesn't even go above stock speeds. I assume it might just be a random error in the program so i restart my computer and it works fine. This would be a problem with the program more than a problem with the fan itself correct?

Like i said only happens barely once or twice every few months. ^^

Thnx in advance

Thats fine, as long as you tolerate the extra noise...

shoot I couldnt even stand that fan at 18% however other then noise there is no problem running it at 75%. As for ATi tool not always working, the program was made by w1zzard in his free time not by a company so its not completely perfect. However he is always working on it so you could always try a newer version.
