what do you guys think of an upholstered case?
not just putting the colth or vynil over it.
i mean making it plush and poofy too. i have some extra stuff from doing my car and i could do a case, i wouldnt do the inside of course but itd be cool.
i was thinking a fuzzy felt or the vynil/leather chairs with the big brass buttons, generally the ones that are that are kinda darker red colored
justa thought

Shag pile.
Red crushed velvet? That might be pretty sweet. I don't think the leather with buttons would work well on a computer.

Probably something that doesn't catch fire just to be safe. But I really like the idea of plain ole carpet to blend in with the room, just don't let anyone sit on it :).

well the material used wouldnt be on the inside of course, justy wrapped arround the edges, the piticular case in question has its power supply lower and then fan holes above and its really the only reason i am suggesting it

I think it's a great idea, I've always wanted to make a leather covered pc for a HTPC. But it would be cool to make your pc match you car as well, lol. GO FOR IT!
I believe someone posted a carpet PC on here before, can't recall name or when though.

alright well i cant guarentee anything but i'll head out to search for a suitible materal.
lately its been snowiong here so it'll be difficult and i dont think i want to make it the same as my car becuse i am doing the car in a plain black felt with 1/2 inch foam rubber under it for insulation.
what about windows or any thing like that?
this is the case i am using:

i filled the cuts in the top pretty well with JB Weld and was going to finish it off with spot putty and paint it but i'm not in the mood for painting right now and its too cold for it.
