lack of tv-out w 23.11?

hey guys, i have a question. i don't have the ability to move my cpu near a tv to test, so i figured i'd ask here. i'm running a pny geforce3 ti200 w/ tv-out, with the nvidia 23.11 drivers. do i have to have the vid card's tv-out hooked up to a tv upon boot to have the tv-out option displayed in my adapter's display settings, or am i another victim of the *23.11 doesn't support tv-out* ghost? when i go into the adapter's display settings, the tv-out option is shaded out [can't choose the bullet]. any info? tia

i believe that only the drivers that come straight from your video card manufacturer supports tv-out as they each have their own proprietary tv-out chips...
