I need to know how to shut down a pc remotly on my lan. I got the wol working, now if i could to this it would make my life that much easier.

I think he meant "remotely" as in far away. Not "remote" control. I think he want's something with a little more range than 30 feet...

Glad it did! I wish I could credit whoever initially posted the link, but I have no idea who it was. I use it to monitor my other SETI machines, and it's quite good for such a simple program.

shouldn't there be some kinda shutdown feature with the Wake on Lan, I mean if it can turn on a computer, why can't it turn it off?

use a remote administration tool. Theres a million of them Snid, Back Orifice, netbus, etc. They'll show up as viruses on your scanner, but oh well.
