Asus P5B-D + 45nm

I just picked up my new E8400 tonight. I haven't put it in my rig yet but I want to update my BIOS while the 6600 is still in it.

Does the 1226 BIOS (most recent one on Asus' site) provide 45nm support or do I need to find the beta BIOS I've heard mentioned. I looked for it specifically and couldn't find it.

Yes, the latest 1226 Beta BIOS supports the 45nm cpu's.. as do all the previously released Beta BIOS's since v1212...

That's great news. I didn't see it in the release notes for 1226 and since it was released on 11/30/07 I was kinda thinking it wasn't going to work.
