So I just read the anandtech article http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=3208

Not only do i want that board, but it got me thinking about the performance level setting on my p5k-E. So i went about investigating my ram proper and had some fun doing it.

Right now I'm DDR1068 on the 5:6 @ 4-4-4-8 @ 2.35vmem using the performance level of 6. I'm very happy with this result (although I'm still testing stability)

So is that too much voltage for 24/7? I have a 120mm fan sitting over them and the case is already well vented. They are Ballistix PC8500 D9's.

I'm just happy i got them to run at these timings! also are there anysuggestions for the sub timings, cause i dont have much of a clue there.

There are rated for 2.2 right?

D9's are hard to say some will handle the voltage increase over time and some will die really quick with voltage increase. IMO with a 120mm fan over them you should be ok but don't hold me to that...

yeah they are 2.2 rated. I've had them running at 2.1 most of the time though. I've decided to suck it and see. If they die, they die. Of course i hope they wont...
