XP and the windows key

A bud installed xp and now the windows key will not drop a game to the taskbar as it did in 98se -- what up with this?

well it does it on mine ,which I have only done it on accident,have you tried alt and tab?

Yeah I know it works on mine too. I had to disable the Windows Key. I kept hitting it playing Tribes2. MAN thats annoying.

Hmmm weird where does he enable/disable the key?Its a msi kt266pro2 mobo/xp1700cpu. lol I hit mine all the time funny you know your going to be dead when you pop the game back up.

I had to use 3rd party software to disable the Windows key. I couldn't find a way to turn it off in XP.

Make sure XP has the proper keyboard selected in the keyboard properties. If he only has the 101 or 89 key keyboard selected the Windows key may not work.
