i'm looking into swapping a dothan pentium-m into my pc with an asus ct-479 adaptor and i'd like to keep the watercooling system i have going if possible.

did anyone ever find a solution to the mounting problem with the ct-479? or alternatively could i use arctic silver epoxy to just stick an old tdx block i have laying around onto the chip for life?

You most certainly COULD stick the water block on with epoxy. If you don't care about it being permanent, then I think you've foudn your sultion to the mounting problem.

You could do this

Been working fine for over 2 years now.

I did plan on getting a proper mounting solution, there were a few different ways of doing it. But I had the CPU and the adapter ready do go so i thought zip ties would do for the time being, worked fine so i just left it.
