Hi,

I'm willing to bet that someone has done this on here before.

After running a dual monitor rig for some time I've had a few dreams, aspirations, and other unholy ideas about what to do next...

This web page (http://www.mediachance.com/free/multicomp.htm) pretty much planted the idea in my head. I saw this about a year ago but I had no hope of creating a system like this. Until my parents got a new PC. I nicked the old one, hooked it up to an old router I had, started the software and PRESTO! It worked.

Now I have a team speak client running on the old machine and Battlefield 2 running on my main.

Here's my desktop:

You can see the router underneath the bottom right corner of the right hand monitor.

And here's the PC's I'm using:

The Rat's nest behind my PC has only become worse from this but I don't really care.

Or you could just run the server in a VM and set it on the second monitor and not have to bother with the KVM and such???

I don't have a KVM, just a router and some software. I use to run the client instead of my main rig. It means I can hear better with the game sound coming out of my speakers. Plus I get sh*t audio quality when I run them both on the same machine.
