Software RAID in XP?

I have heard somewere that "software RAID" can be used in XP,and or that it is in the OS already, just not enabled.

Is this true or Bullsh...t??

If not, how do i make it come ALIVE... ; )

i know you can do it in Win2k but im not sure about winXP, but i did it and took a big performance hit and it sucked i would never do it again.

Yes it is there in XP Pro. Not sure if the Home Edition supports it. Some say it's worth it, some say it's not.

My opinion: There is no substitute for hardware RAID. Period.
