I was gonna suggest Craig's List, but Tulsa goes back over a week with the first 100 posts. Atlanta's first 100 is usually only a day or two, lots of stuff (& junk and scams) to sift through.

Lol. Yeah, it's for real. It does have the look & feel of a early 90's dialup BBS though. Try reading their forum section - holy cow!
The forum section is quite confusing. Has any of you guys bought from there?

I've considered it (haven't found anything I really want), but would find someone local & meet to look at the item before paying for it. ;)
Well i did get in reach of a seller but the item was already gone. Any other sites? or know anyone that is willing to sell me one for $350 shipped.

What about an Asus EEE?
asus eee isnt the type of thing that fits me. too small and short on memory, hd space.

i just got one off these forums this week. Just post in the Wanted section
Heh, I got a used T40 for $350 1/2 a year ago, it's pretty good, gets the job done for cheap and the battery still lasts 3 hours, keeps a charge around 3 days.
1.6GHz Core Solo, 1GB DDR333(CL2), 40Gb HDD, Radeon 7500.
Sounds horrible but it works.

Craigslist is probably one of the safest ways to buy or sell something because the transaction takes place in person. Unless they physically rob you of what you're selling (or steal your money if you're the buyer), there isn't much that can go wrong.

Then you need to post in the Classifieds here, this is the Cyber Deals section.
