They only approved 2 the 300 and 350 models. Probably because anything more is overkill in their books, or that's the only ones Enermax sent to AMD to be tested.
Just like most extreme hardware that you can get it. Does it really matter if it is AMD approved or not? Having a HSF that is over 300grams is not AMD approved so would that mean a MCX462 is no good?
