what ddr2 timings to set on the p5k

Hi

I just got a p5k to replace the msi in my sig. The issue here is that my ram won't work well on it - I can't even get 980-1000MHz and I know that it can do 1100 and above.

I think the problem is with the way asus sets the timings when left on auto. How sholt I set up the subtimings? (I set the normal ones 5-5-5-15, but how about the rest - the less popular ones)

did you up the voltage?

Yes. Even tried 2.3 when I know they can do close to 1100 with 2.1. Still no success.

Maybe it's some kind of incompatibilty

or the board isnt a good ram clocker.

Problem solved... just needed a bios update

Got the latest and now everything works as it should.
