I would like to get a DVD and a CDRW drive for my computer and am on a budget. I would like some suggjestions for good but not exspensive (under $80 would be good).

you want BOTH for under that? or $80 each?

DVD shouldn't be a problem, but the CDRW may pose a threat to your wallet. I'd not recommend any CDRW's (that are new) for under $100.

Actually I think that he means a combo DVD/CDRW drive. Although that's not goin to be cheap either.

I got one combo iomega drive for 69.99 but I am a deal wh0R3 so I don't think you will get this deal. try searching on Anandtech hot deal forum. check newegg. I think techbargains.com had a link to a nice plextor 24x/12/40 for 129.99! not what you wanted but go down from there.

at frys and Best Buy I have seen 24x10x40 going for less than $100
