X-FI Owners, did you download this Windows Update?

I've already got the latest X-Fi sound driver installed, but windows update scan pops this up? Do I have to install that?

Thanks, I had it installed earlier but had to reformat. Shortly after reformat my audio driver started glitching. So I reformated again. Considering before the very first format, my video driver was showing the same symptoms, I'm thinking either my memory or my mobo are failing...

XP SP2, pak you run XP too right?

Anyone else want to weigh in on this update?

yeah, xp sp2. Before the update, I was having problems just getting my sound to work right. A few times before I knew the update was there, I couldnt get my bass to work properly. I would have to do multiple re installs of the xfi driver and software. Installing the update made xfi driver installs a one shot thing after.

Where are you getting the update from? It hasnt shown up for me.. I have the X-Fi XtremeMusic too.. hmmmm.
