I have a Glaciator 1 that is still in the box. haven't tried it out yet.

have an option to buy a MC462 revision 2 with no fan for $35. I have a Delta for it right now.

will the MC462 cool better than the Glaciator #1?? should I sell the Glaciator or keep it and try it out??

I want the better performing of the 2 and noise is no problem.

I have 5 Deltas in my box right now(2 intak/2 exhaust/1 on Gladiator hs).

I need advise quick as I posted the Glaciator for sell.

I do like the Glaciator but I want maximum air cooling.

thanks,
Mike

Go with the MC462 and a Delt. For more power get the 80mm 80c.f.m Delta and sell the other H.S.F.

what kind of temps are you getting with your 462.

I have a Gladiator running my 1.4 @1.4 right now

91 F cpu/ 68 F case temps.

I have a decent cooling setup but I know the current hs is not the best I can use. want a few more degrees so I can raise my 1.4 up a few notches.

thanks.

oh yes, can i get a 92mm Delta to work? I have one of those too.

My temps are 32C but my case cooling sucks. I'm waiting for my fans. Yea you can go with the 92mm 100c.f.m. Delta just get an adapter. Also the best heatsink you can get to date is the MCX462.

The MCX462 is an awesome HS. Check my sig. It's powerful enough to cool a Palomino with a TEC on it....no problem either. Expensive maybe, but definitely THE BEST air cooling you can get.

*edit-The MC462 is almost as good as the MCX- model, it just doesn't have spiral pins....not a big thermal difference...I tried it.
