Correct me if I'm wrong. The XP 1800+ is not a 1800MHz CPU right. Cause at www.bestbuy.com thats what they say it is. As far as I know the 1800+ is a 1.533 GHz CPU.

This is the problem with a PR rating. Customers will buy a XP 1800+ and some will expect a 1800mhz cpu and when they find out different they may hate AMD for misleading them when in fact the resellers are responsible for not posting the facts or properly pionting them out.

1800+=1533mhz
1700+=1470mhz
1600+=1400mhz
1500+=1333mhz

See thats what I thought. Can't Bestbuy be sued for that?

Sure, you can sue them... Will you win? No.

It is just a typo. Raise a stink, I am sure they would refund your money.

I just recieved an E-mail from Bestbuy bout the wrong listing of the XP1800+. From what I gathered they are going to be changing it to the real speed that it runs.:D

Seems that AMD could get kinda ****ed at best buy too, they could lose customers over this.
