packet loss?

i have been getting kicked lately in BF2 for packet loss.
I try to avoid the networking forum as I don't know much about it but would like some help to resolve this. Is this because of my computer or is it due to my network provider?

How about you run us a tracert from the command prompt to lets say..... google.com


Even better would be the ip address of one of the game servers.


You can also download ping plotter and run a test that way too. It's pretty self explanitory . PUt in the IP or domain name, and then run the test. It will ping and traceroute the path to the remote location, and show a graphical representation of all loss. After running it for say 24 hrs you can screen shot the program and then post it here and we can look at it.
