need help bad

ok I built this 1.4 athlon that I thought was getting kinda hot so I got a sk6. I put that on their and fried the proc. I got a nother proc and tryed again with some asII and then it was getting bout 150F:mad: . my friends 1.2 runs normal. but the 1.4 BURNS, And when i use the cooler master that I originaly had it only gets to bout 130 still !#@!$ hot. anyway its a kg7 if yal got anyideas let me know.

Maybe it`s not seated right. Cuase the Sk-6 is better then a coolermaster. What kind of fan were you using.

uhh its not the fan thats not the problem, and i know the sk6 is better, but its poorly designed. its hard to tell if its over the little drop in the socket or not. and for some reason its not working rite
