PS3 is the best PS2 game player ever (The Shield)

I'm a big fan of The Shield tv show so I picked it up on the PS2 for like $10. The game is awesome. The graphics REALLY suck, even upscaled, especially compared to a PS3/360 game or an upscaled Xbox game but it is fun. Who cares about the rumble, I don't need it. The PS3 six Axis works great wirelessly. So if you've got a PS2 or a PS3 that plays PS2 games, give it a try.

PS1 works just as good and there is a massive library of games that I will be purchasing over the next few months! ;)

My PS3 has been hit or miss on some games. I tried to play MGS3 and occassional my console would lockup and require a reboot. I read that this can be an issue even with [in my case] a brand new copy of the game. Most of the other PS2 games I have played have been just fine. Disclaimer: I have the 80GB so I understand that my compatibility is a little spotty.

I also forgot to mention that on the PS3 the load times are nearly nonexistent for PS2 and PS1 games.

Play Quake and come back and try to honestly say that statement haha. Yeah though, the upscaling feature is very nice IMO. Games like FFXII or God of War look very good on the PS3.

Yes it does, some games you can tell a bigger difference in than others. The original Xbox games look much better upscaled on the 360 for some reason. I ever really realized how much better looking the Xbox was over the PS2 until I just recently went back to playing some older games I missed the first time around.
