I was really sold on the Alpha 8045 but now that i think about it would the Swiftech 462-A be worth getting. They both would probably have the same fan on them (Panaflo 80mm High or YS Tech 80mm High Output). Would the preformance be the same or would the Swiftech be better? Fast response please

there about the same to me, if ur gonna spend all this cash, u might as well go water cooling.. but if you would rather have a hsf then get either one, and get the delta 80cfm one at sidewindercomputers.com ...

Go ahead with the 80mm 80CFM fan just run it at 7V or use a potentiometer. The bigger surface area of the blades in the EHE will give you more CFM than the blades on the SHE at the same noise level.

FFB0812EHE - 80MM 80CFM
FFB0812SHE - 80MM 68CFM

HAHA I tried to get water cooling but I need a bigger case first and I dont have the money for the case and watercooling until my birthday.

How loud is the FFB0812EHE - 80MM 80CFM with the mod?

So I should get the Swiftech if I have the money?

how do i mod it to 7v? and what is a potienmeter?

I've seen them anywhere from 25dba to 42dba! Just Look at the stats on the site you are going to purchase from. If there are no stats, don't chance it, go to another site where you can see the stats. Sure it may cost alittle more, but isn't your peice of mind worth it?
