Cable modem DL speeds and ping survey

can all of yall that use cable modems give me your input on your average download speeds and usual ping for games (mostly CS), thx

Your best bet is to check DSLReports.com or Speedguide.net and look at their posted results there.

D/L: 1.2-1.5Mbps, sometimes higher
U/L: 300Mbps (this is capped pretty low...)

Actually get 1.8-2.0/110-130 Ping times average between 20 and 300 milliseconds depending on host location and time.

on dslreports before comcast switched to their own service i was getting about 2 mbps down and 150 kbps up

now dsl reports

d/l-1.4 mpbs
u/l-112 kbps

ping-80-160 ms
anybody else using comcast have less speed after the switch?
