Are these fans any good? I know the ones that come in cheap CM cases are complete crap..
I mostly use Yate Loon D12SL-12 is about CFM: 47, 28 db. These are 43CFM//22db I say suitable for lower cfm requirements. I generally found the Yate Loons to be outputing more CFM than I really need so these at 43 are about 90% CFM of yate loon but quieter, a trade off I can live with.

Wow... 3 pin fans.. i went looking for those a while back and could not find any under 10 bucks...
I need some cash now!
EDIT: bah OOS anyway
got 'em today, excellent build quality from the look of them but the 3pin wire might be too short for my P182 case though placing in the front intake.

Will most fan controllers work with these? I don't really want new fans but with my Antec 900 it is hard getting the fans to work with controllers.

I picked up 6 of them, along with some dual-3 pin to molex adapters to make sure I can plug 'em all in... my stupid MB only has 2 3-pins and a single 4-pin. So this way I can just run 'em all off the PSU's molex connectors and not worry about my MB's fan headers shorting out. :D
So I'm thinking 2 intakes on the front panel (Antec P180), one on my Big Typhoon, one rear exhast and 1 top exhaust, and replace the one blowing into my PSU, which is mounted at the bottom under a divider from the main case... not sure what I'll do with my Yate Loons, but I'm sure I'll find SOME kind of use for them. ;) Should be a whole lotta blue goin' on in my case, though!

I got myself some of these. They are pretty quiet but definitely not 22dba quiet. With 3 in a case from about a meter away, I can hear them pretty well.
yes I also dislike the LEDs in them but after installing into P182 case don't really see it at all from the outside so I guess np. They are also much quieter than my older Yate Loones.
Got 10 of them for $27.21 shipped. They are to be used in my ongoing mod build FF2.

Do you just cut the led wires? Do you have to do anything else to them?
I'm thinking about getting 4 of these and a fan controller.

If they are in series, don't cut them. If they are in parallel you can. Alternatively you can crush the LED to make it not emit light, but pass current.
microcenter has them at $4.50 in-store. i don't know about online

I specifically wanted blue led 120mm fans. This has to be a first wher I want something and a deal happens. Deals have ALWAYS been right AFTER I already purchased!
For 10, I have to see what you are doing with them :)
How long are the 3 pin connectors on these? I might buy some because my fan controller is open...
