Hi

Can somebody tell me what memory my video card has?

This is a screenshot after running Coolbits. I think it's SDR, but after seeing the speed I'm not so sure...

System runs fine (I don't have 3DMark so I can't give you scores) without glitches at this graphics OC. Temps of the GPU are around 37C afetr ten minutes of playing Porsche2000 at 1152X864. Is this OK for a GEForce MX200?

Thanks in advance.

Sang

**Edit: The stock speed was 175/286**

Stock for MX 200 is 143mhz memory, which means that coolbits is either seeing it as DDR when it's not or you got lucky, cause I didn't think they were making DDR MX 200 cards :).

I don't think it's DDR, either. However, one always hopes...

What do you think is the highest I can go with this card? An can it handle FSBs of over 150?

Thanks

this reminds me of the story of my vid card... I bought a GF2MX400 SDRAM version (175/166)... I opened up the box and discovered that the card was a DDR version (200/334) :) Someone made a mistake, and I benefited from it :) yay!

Which drivers have the "Clock Frequencies" tab on them? I used to have a flavor of them, but I can't remember know. I'd rather OC my card that way than with somthing external such as PowerStrip.

My thoughts exactly...

there's a coolbits registry 'hack' for getting the overclocking features enabled on nvidia drivers.

Yep

Add this to your registry

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvTweak]
"CoolBits"=dword:00000003
