View Full Version : Slower Fan for SK6?
I just moved my Tbird 1.4 to a smaller room, and the noise from the delta on my sk6 is almost unbearable. Is there any way I could use a slower fan like the 5400rpm from my old coolermaster instead of such a high power fan, or is there a quieter and comparably good fan out there for less than $10?

This should have been in the cooling forum but I'm dure a mod will move it soon.
Have a look at this before you buy a new fan
7 Volts (http://www.overclockers.com/tips766/)
This is a cooling issue that will be better addressed in the cooling section of these forums.
Go ahead & try it but the SK6s high density fin structure wants a high pressure fan.

I had a Delta fan on mine and i took it off and replaced it with a Thermaltake fan, my computer is more quiet than it ever was.

try putting a 80mm fan, they are much, much quieter and can fit the SK-6 w/o a adapter
