I have a Asrock Conroe 1333-D667 motherbaord and an E6320 CPU that I am trying to overclock. I can get roughly a 12% overclock 1.86GHZ-->2.10GHz but I can't go any higher than 299MHZ FSB from the normal 266MHz. I can't manually change the vcore on this board but the Asrock Hybrid booster is supposed to boost the vcore whenever required. I just want to get to 2.2GHz-2.3GHz and I will be very happy.
Any help would be great!
Thanks
Steve
It sounds like an issue with the pci bus
Look in the BIOS to see if there is an option to lock the pci bus or the pci-e bus
if so then lock it at its normal bus speed
if there isn't a lock there is another option of pad modding the chip but that would void the warranty

The PCI-E is locked at 100. I bought the processor used so warranty could be tough anyway.

If I unlock the PCI-E (tied overclock) I can easily get a 20% and probably more. I guess the problem is with the untied overclocking.
