Probably been reported before, so here we go:
I haven't had any problems until today, starting up the computer I get this error in a blue screen. It reads along the lines of this : BAD_SYSTEM_USER_IRQ1. Ok...now thats reassuring....
It tells me to restart if this is the first time, so I did, then it brings me to choices for safe mode, and start normally and etc. So I chose revert to recent settings. I restarted after that to see if it went away, and BAM there it is again. So this time, I unplugged my DSL Modem, (which I JUST got and put it on top of the comp) then restarted, chose start windows normally, and no error upon restart.
So...could the modem be considered new hardware, cause it said that any new hardware or software installed could be conflicting. And how do I use BIOS if this happens again so I can fix this permanenly? Thanks in advance.
