Right now I am using Moter Board Monitor 5, and it says my temp is 49......it hasnt changed.....ever.

I think MBM is set wrong, but I have checked everything, do you know what it might be?

When I run 3DMark 2001, it syas there is an error when I get to the second game (the dragon one).

I have tried downloading 3DMark from 2 different sites, but each time I wiould get the same error.

Anyone know what could be wrong?

ask this over in vid and sound and I'll see what I can do to help out.

Good looking specs! Congrats!
Sandra for the benchies, and MBM is good: what temps does it give you? case/mobo/cpu?

49c seems a bit hot for a glaciator II: whats the case temp?

Then again, asII takes up to 48 hours to settle.
Still again I've heard that some asus mobos show temps a bit high.

Alright, my MBM states that the temp for my CPU is 48. This hasn't changed in 3 hours...?

I set the refresh rate to 1 second.....48 stayed the same. I set it to 2 seconds......48 stayed the same.

I dont know what to do now.

Also, in my BISO I have the Multiplier set to 12 and the MHz set to 140.....yet in SiSoft, it only shows it as 1.470GHz?

Heres SiSoft with my Multiplier set to 12 and my MHz set to 140.

Don't have a problem with posting about your new rig in the GD forum, but when it comes to problem solving it belongs here or in cooling. That's why it wasn't deleted. =)

Did you use AS2 between the heatsink and cpu?
How did you unlock your cpu?
12 x 140=1680
1472/140=10.5

Makes me think the unlock didn't take so you are still running at 10.5 multiplier.

No case or mobo temps? What do you have for case fans?

When I bought the chip I checked all the L1 bridges...they were all connected. The BIOS lets the multiplier go up the 14(I think).

I have 2 Case fans...but I dont know how to set them up in MBM.

I have a PSU Fan too, and of course the one on the HS.

I will go check on that multiplier right now.

The MHz is back to 133, but I changed the multiplier to 11.

Heres SiSoft.

The 1.4 Thunderbirds are factory unlocked!!!

Edit: some if not all the 200 ones are locked. The 266 are all unlocked as far as I know.

What could be causing my problem? Why wont the multiplier work?

Probably a setting into the Bios, but it's better to post this question into the right section of Forum (AMD Cpu or the Asus Mobo) to get a fast reply ;)

well I kinda meant in your own thread...didn't see this until just now. If you posted it there, I apologize....I'm having a look there now.

after a brief look there....as well as a search for your posts, I don't see a single post with this question made.

I never noticed that comment you made, sorry.

I will just post these questions in their proper threads.

I don't know if ne one noticed but his 5volt rail seems a little low. His high temp might be cause by tangled cables messing up air flow or a weak PSU creating too much heat raising ambient.
