Ok for a while i ran my ram at its rated speeds or close to it. i got some Super tallent T800UB1GSA "cheap i know" samsung chips. im running them on stock volts and timeings at 474/948mhz and all seems stable and good. I got heat spreaders on them with a XTC fan so they should be beaing cooled enought.

So should i try for more? Should i see how high i can get it at 1.8volts? im trying to do 500/1000 or close to it.

First find the voltage rating for the chips and go from there. Always fun to try and "get more" just be careful how much voltage you feed em. Don't expect to hit 500Mhz though.:santa:

i was thinking about going with 2.0v's max but i wanna stick with stock volts. I'll see how high i can get them on stock volts.

Stock by SPD or stock as in voltage rating on the spec sheet?

How do you find voltage rating for kingston RAMs?

How do you find voltage rating for kingston RAMs?

All depends on the model/type. A lot of Kingston ram is rated for 2.6v, a few 2.5 and a few 1.8 and one or two 3.3. Can't tell you more than that w/o model/type of ram.

You can try googling for the data sheet on the chips your ram uses, or you could hit up an online reitailer like newegg, they show the ram's rated voltage in the specs.

Most i can get my SST to on stock volts "1.8" is 490. But if i up the volts some "still runs cool thanks to the heatspreaders and xtc cooler" i can hit 500mhz

hmm my ram fsb/dram is 1:2 and ive got my ram set at 500 (so 1000mhz) each at stock voltage... OCZ Gold ;) gonna up voltage to 1.9 from 1.8 see what that does...
