I use coolbits now and I used Expertool (came with my gainward) but both only go to 220 on the core... is there a program that will allow me to go higher? Oh and not take up a lot of system resources... I noticed going from Expertool (it sits in the system tray) to coolbits that at the same speed it did better:rolleyes:
I believe NVMax allows you to go beyond 220 on the core

does it tie up resources?
Not at all... changing the clock speed of a card should not require any extra resources other than those required to run whatever proggy you use to OC

But that's exactly it... coolbits is driver based therefore does not seem to tie up any resources... expertool did... I want something as close to coolbits as I can get.... any suggestions?

RivaTuner or GeForceTweak apply the settings in CoolBits or in the card's BIOS (only RivaTuner can do this I think). They're available at www.guru3d.com but I think that site is down right now. Use Yahoo!, I'm sure they're available somewhere else.
