Who has bought a neoHE recently? I've read a lot of bad reviews about the caps that were used in them. Supposedly they've fixed the problem, but I wanted to hear some first hand experience. Newegg has the 500w model on sale. Is it worth getting it or should I go with a more reliable earthwatts model?

Also does anyone think I'm overdoing it on my wattage. I'm replacing the power supply in my dell inspiron 530. It has: e2160, sata 7200 hd, 2 sata dvd-rw, pci-wireless card, 8800gt 512mb(waiting on new psu), 4 sticks ddr2 667, and thinking of adding another 92/120mm cooling fan. Would the ea380 be enough or running close to the edge? Newegg has a good deal on these too.

The Earthwatts is a step down from the Neo HE (group regulation vs. indy)... the Truepower Trio would be the next logical step over. But the EA380 would power that load.

You'll be getting the same capacitors either way - OST and Teapo. Antec doesn't believe in spending money on better capacitors unless you go for the Enhance made True Quattros. However, these Seasonic builds don't eat capacitors like the old CWT built models ate their Fuhjyyus - I wouldn't worry about it.
