I'm bouncing back and forth in my ideas for a radiator.. My plan is to go with a three-fan setup.

Originally, I was going to go for the gusto (ie, future-proofing), and get a Thermochill 120.3. But, in looking around, it seems most other triple fan radiators are less than half the price.

I'm going to be putting in slow fans (Yate Loon mediums, along with a controller), and a Liang DDC pump with after-market top. Really, I don't see myself doing anything more than cooling a CPU and a single video card, which could be handled by a two-fan rad. But I'm making sure if I get an itch to try something more, I have capacity for it (The only thing that springs to mind is a second video card).

So, my question is, how much better are Thermochill rad's vs Swiftech MCR320, or Black Ice GT, or Coolingworks Coolrad 32T. I saw over on Extreme Overclocking that they rated those decently in their parts roundups.. And like I said, less than half the cost of a Thermochill.

No shootout if the shootout was done ages ago, you missed the signup table.

The TC rads have one thing over all others. GREATER performance with low speed fans. Meduim fans they still win a bit. Monster fans the other brands become equal, or almost equal. Read all the stickies here and at xtreme forums, then choose.

Your choice of fans.............

I run a PA 120.3, YL med fans on a controller set to min, my pump is the loudest thing, so it's quiet as heck.

Even with my setup, I'd add a 120.2 in a seperate loop for my CPU/NB, moving the 120.3 to my GPU's if I went to a second GPU. GPUs run very very hot.
Lookies my sig, I can't add a second GPU to it, OC'ed on a warm day at 85F. I'd saturate my thermal capability and overheat.

The Swiftech MCR320 is the rad with the best bang for the buck at medium to low speed cfms. The thermochills are the best, but you are talking maybe 10-15% for almost 3 times the price thanks to our weakened US dollar. I just bought 2 MCR320 rads from Sidewinder for less than $100 delivered.

Yep the voigts is righto with his input. Absolute best ability to cool? TC PA brand. Next is his suggestion at a lot less cash. And still capable, just a bit less, but a good buy.
