Nevin, i have a question. Would using just Part A or Part B of either alumina or silver adhesive work as a compound? Would it have thermal transfer capabilities?

Sorry, neither part is the equivalent of thermal compound. They are the 2 parts of the epoxy. Part A is the resin and Part B is the hardener.

Both parts have thermal transfer capabilities, but they do not maintain the viscosity characteristics required of thermal compounds.

Say, if i was out of Arctic Silver or Arctic Alumina compound, and i NEEDED to put thermal material on something right away, could i use just Part A or Part B? Or would it be better not to use anything?
