Network Not Networking?

Hi All,

I'm having a bit of a problem getting my network to work properly.

I am PC "A" and my dad is "B". I want to take my CoD4 program files folder from "A" and put it in program files folder in "B". I'd install the game but My disc is messed up and I don't have the time for an ISO. Besides I've seen my my best friend do it at his house all the time. He takes the program files from his PC and transfers them to his dads PC so that We can have our own little LAN parties. So that's why I want to learn how to do it. I'd ask him but I wanted to ask here first.

I've read the guide on Networking for XP and I followed the steps to the letter. Yet I still cant see anything other than the "shared" folders which are pretty useless right now.

Please help me, if you can.

the reason why you only see 'shared' folders is because they are the only folders that you have shared. either share the folder that you want to copy or just copy the folder and paste it into one of the pre-shared folders. poof you can copy it over.
