Voodoo3 question ?

this is the same question that I posted in Games, that no one even checked, so here it is : I received Myst 3 Exile, but it doesn't work on my voodoo 3 in Hardware Rendering mode. I know it's because the V3 doesn't support 32bits 3D rendering, but what can I do to still make it run ? Can I mod the card or anything ?

Nope......the voodoo3 is a pretty fast card but its crap compared to todays stuff becuase of its lack of features....32-bit being a big one.
Buy a cheap gts for good performance and features.

Thanks for the response ! that sucks, as my comp doesn't have an AGP slot, so I can't have a GTS or anything, plus it's too expensive for that comp :eek: j/k

I've seen a GeForce2 MX400 DDR PCI at a local computer retailer for $70... that's a pretty good deal you know :)

you could get a tnt 2 m64..my dad has one, and it is pretty good, they sell pci versions also
