3DMARK SCORE?

hi, well i decided to run 3dmark 06 demo n i got these results..

are they ok? bad? is something wrong? i was looking at other benchmarks for my card they seem to get higher score for the card but i am only getting the following score? why?
i bought this card since its xxx superoverclock...is it?
temps on stock cooling idle 48c LOAD 55

That is spot on for that card ;)

Overclock that CPU and GPU and those scores will go way up. Most machines on ORB are heavily overclocked.

If everything is at stock speed (as per your sig) then your score looks right to me, and I've run this benchmark the odd time :)

I beat you! (but not by much :)) Those scores are pretty much on the mark for a g80 core (8800 gts 320/640). I'm just barely breaking 11k with my card overclocked.

I am not a benchmarking genious; the people that are getting higher scores with similar specs could have sli or are benchmarking guru's, but your scores look spot on to me. They might have some more info in the benchmarking threads.

Edit: jeez everyone beat me, maybe I should oc my system further...

I have a similiar system, overclocking will give you another 1000-3000 if you want to :)

anyway what about temp? are my ok with stock cooling?

temps should be fine with stock cooling for gpu, keep em under 80C

yours look the same as mine; I keep mine in 50-60C range with a low ambient temp around 62F (I'm cheap)

The 2900XT are great benchers capable of like 1.3GHz core, also they get super performance in synthetic benchmarks like 3D06(no aa low res etc) I'm not too sure about this but isn't 3DMark ATi biased?

Indeed. It's a shame that aa cripples ati cards. The 9600 GT actually beats the 3870 in some games when aa is used.
