I'd like to add dye to the water in the cooling system in my Koolance case, but will this harm anything over the long run? Also, what kind of dye is safe to use? Where would I get it?

I use Dye Lite or NAPA leak detectin tracer dye for my water cooled system. I wouldn't use something like glow bottles because it will slowly eat away at your pump, radiator and water block. Using food color would probably be ok but it will stain the surface of copper and probably aluminum. The NAPA leak detection tracer dye is much cheeper at $4 than Dye lite which is $15-20 plus you can get it at any NAPA auto store. If you want any other color than green I would go with Dye lite since there are really no alternatives that I know of.

Hey Pat is the koolance well worth the $200+? Cuz I plan on getting one later. Have you had any trouble with it? By the way how noisey are all those fans on it. Thanx
