Hi,
Trying to get a gigabyte mobo to fire up power wise(GA81865g775-g-rh). Needed to put at least 1 stick of ram in.The mobo supports ddr dimm, ddr 400,333,266.(this is a new rig to replace aging family pc using AGP8X) NO GAMING. Took a 1GBstick out of Abit SLI mobo 240 pin dimm ddr2 667 and found that the card is just a hairs breath short of fitting over the dividing notch in the mem slot. Is there a difference in the pin count?
cheers

Tks Maverick. Just posted links to the two Mobo`s . Had just put Mobo into case and trying to get power to at least the board. Even stuck in an old Radeon AGP video card, but I guess I still need some ram in there to get PSU to start.
cheers
AGP card is HIS Radeon X1950 PRO ICE Q3 512MB AGP Graphic card. Overclocked by HIS.

If I ever get this lot up and running will need 2x1GB decent mem cards. Any thoughts?
