Guitar to PC problems

I want to hook up my electric to my PC. I've got an Auzentech X-plosion and some very nice OPAMPS. But the guitar is mono obviously, and I need a big jack to a small one. I've got that but it is sterio, so I only get the guitar on my left speakers.

Also, it is very quiet. If I plug it into the "Microphone" jack I can boost the sound but there is a clicking...

If anyone knows any fixes or a program or something that would be awesome.

I need to turn up my volume to like 90% and I can't play music or anything along with me so it kinda sucks....

Your best bet is to use a preamp with your guitar. There are many options. Here is some information you can read through.
