Just sold my old 8800gts (g80) 640mb.

Now looking for a sli setup that will out perform my old 8800gts.

Ive been looking around and want to keep it relativly cheap.

I was thinking 2 gt's.

You guys think that would out perform my old card?

Thanks,

Matt R.

This should be correct. However, to see large increases he probably will see an SLI setup.

If you want SLI the 8800GT is probably a good choice. You could also look into a single G92 GTS. Any of the G92 cards or any SLI setup will be better than your old setup. Your improvement will be decided by how much you want to spend.

Thanks for responding guys!

Didn't consider doin it on the cheap, SLI 9600gt-style?

How do the 9600GT's perform in SLI? Are they better than a single GTS-512?
