Does it not worry you guys that the takeover of Hynix by Micron may mean that the Hynix plants begin to manufacture Micron branded memory for inclusion into Corsair and Crucial memory products, thus giving us overclocking guys the rough end of the stick somewhat.

It does now, as I was not aware of it before you mentioned it

You could be getting PC2700 that won't work properley on SiS645 boards or KT333 chipsets and allsorts unless Micron really do get them to pull their finger out.

I'm not too worried if there is an occurrent rise in DRAM price provided that the quality increases over that at present which is a nightmare.
