Last time was with win98se
sepember when I had the old pc(win98) Now since then new pc,
First had w2k pro in, not 1 bsod, now win xp pro and still no bsod's !!! So about 3 months
I haven't had problems with any MS OS eXcePt XP, and oh yeah, ME too. ME is a crap OS and XP is too new to be good yet. You gotta give MS about a year to get the bugs worked out. I know some ppl love both, but this is only from my personal experience.

I wuz messin with somethin or another...software.
a week ago on WinXP...had my CAS set wrong on my jump from 112FSB to 124, got a BSOD on startup...never got one due to anything not related to O/C'ing, had WinXP since beta build 2486....running Corp. now
98fe, earlier today, can't remember if I actually got the screen or just an unrecoverable lockup but it did die on me.

WinME. NAV alert: system low on memory. Ppppbbbbttt! 768M! Screw you Norton. :D
Aside from that, I'll get one occasionally dealing with a vxd error.
When you graduate to big league screw-ups, then you don't even get the BSOD. I've had two total lockups today. ;) Something very screwy going on here.
lol godfodda...know what you mean :p
rather get a screen tellin me what I did wrong than my comp just freezing...
I don't really remeber... But with Win98se, I've learned to forget them all :D
System uptime almost 12 hours, so something happened around 10:00am... Can't remeber what though... Or if it was a BSOD

Finally tried that program myself. Forced my first "purple screen of death" just a few minutes ago.

How can I force a bsod?
Try to copy a big file to the floppy drive, I say a big file to make sure you have enough time to do what comes next but the file doesn't need to be bigger than the disk capacity. Part way through the copy process pull out the disk, it will cause a "media not present" error (or some stupid thing like that). Congratulations, you are now the proud owner of your own BSOD!!!!

home: 2k only time i ever did was before i learned to turn off ACPI (microshaft: "yes, let's pile ALL the IRQ's on the SAME number...bwahahaha").
