hello
i have 2gb of Corsair XMS2 CM2X1024-6400C4DHX
i am overclocking them at 1000mhz and using memory timings
5,5,5,15,20
can i tighten these or do anything to make them better as i dont no what im doing with the timings
any help please guys

Not really. It depends on the setup.
Some sticks can be pushed very hard if you give them enough voltage.
It generally is not worth it. Rather push for higher clocks than tighter timings.

Unless you really want a few milliseconds shaved off your SuperPi times or a marginally higher synthetic benchmark scores then theres not much point ...
Try running @ 5-5-5-12, give memtest a few runs and maybe try changing some of those 5s to 4s although don't get your hopes up too much.

is there much of a difference running my E6600 at 3.2GHZ than 3.6GHZ

Yeh .. about 400Mhz .. You should be able to see a good performance increase at 3.6 compared to 3.2 ..
